Free to use, for riding the estate tracks at your own pace.

They are ordinary bicycles, made for the estate's dirt tracks — not mountain bikes, not road bikes, and nothing special is needed to ride them. They stand by the entrance and are used without booking or paying anything.

Where you can ride

The tracks that serve the estate are flat and wide, built for the tractor to pass, which is exactly why they are good on a bicycle. They loop through the cork oaks, run past the paddocks and come back to the yard without ever leaving the property.

It is 150 hectares: enough for a twenty-minute ride or for a whole morning, as you prefer. Anyone who would rather walk has the signposted circuit, which covers the same ground more slowly.

Before you set off

  • Take water — there is no tap along the way
  • Avoid the hottest hours between June and September
  • Tell us at reception if you are heading out late in the day

If you would like a picnic basket to take with you, it is arranged the day before and ready in the morning.
